For too long, working families have paid the same marginal income tax rate as millionaires and billionaires. We need a system where those at the top pay their fair share of taxes.

Large profitable corporations have taken advantage of various tax loopholes to avoid paying their fair share of taxes, pulling resources out of our communities. We need to close these loopholes so that these large profitable corporations pay what they owe.

Black and brown families have been hardest hit by the pandemic as a result of generations of policy decisions that created racial inequities in health care, education, and more. We need to raise new, sustainable revenue so that we can make transformative investments that remove long-standing barriers to building wealth and creating opportunities for all to thrive.
